For Pool Pros: Pool Contractor Leads Through a Vetted Network

Pool contractor leads from PC&S are introductions to homeowners, HOAs and property managers who asked for pool quotes, matched by service and ZIP code to a limited number of licensed companies.

  • ✓Limited companies per marketWe cap the number of companies per market and service, so each request goes to a short list.
  • ✓License and insurance checkedWe check state license status where the state licenses pool work, plus a current certificate of insurance.
  • ✓Matched by service and ZIPBuilders get build and remodel requests; service companies get service and repair requests in their area.
Quick answer
PC&S sends pool contractor leads as introductions: a homeowner, HOA or property manager asks for quotes, and we match the request by service and ZIP code to a limited number of licensed, insured pool companies. We check license status and insurance before any introduction. Terms are discussed individually; there is no public price list.

How PC&S pool contractor leads will work

Pool Construction & Service is an independent matching and information service. We do not build or service pools and we hold no customer money. The network is being set up market by market; this is how it is designed to run.

  1. A homeowner asks for quotesRequests come through the quote form on our guides, service pages and city pages: ZIP code, service, budget range, timeline and contact details, with consent to be contacted.
  2. We match by service and ZIP codeA pool build request goes to builders who cover that ZIP code; a weekly service or repair request goes to service companies. We do not send a build request to a cleaning route, or the reverse.
  3. A limited number of companies per marketEach market and service has a cap on participating companies, so homeowners hear from a short list and you are not one of many.
  4. You receive an introductionYou get the request details and the homeowner gets your company name. You quote and contract directly; PC&S takes no part in the job or the payment.
  5. Feedback and concernsHomeowners can report a concern about any company we introduce; we review it and may pause introductions.

We publish no lead volumes, conversion rates or testimonials because the network is new and we will not invent them. How we make money: pool companies may pay for introductions. The terms, including any fee and how many companies share a market, are discussed with each company individually. Read why the site exists on our purpose of this website page.

Licensing rules differ sharply by state, so our check does too. 14 of 51 jurisdictions issue a dedicated pool contractor license, while 16 states, home to 37.7% of US residents, leave licensing to cities and counties (PC&S licensing research). Where a state license exists, we look it up on the state board’s public roster; where it does not, we ask for local registrations and insurance. Florida had 3,068 active pool construction licenses and 1,499 servicing licenses in August 2026, and California 2,831 C-53 and 1,608 C-61/D-35 licenses in October 2026.

New-build demand has cooled from the boom but is steady: permits in the nine Sun Belt cities ran 3.6% above 2025 from January to August 2026 (PC&S permit research). Florida, California, Texas, New York and Arizona hold 54.2% of US pool homes, which is where the network starts.

Which pool companies the network suits

  • Licensed where your state requires it In the 7 states with a pool service or repair class, service companies need that class for repair work; builders need the construction class in the 14 jurisdictions with a dedicated pool license.
  • Insured and able to show it A current certificate of insurance is required before the first introduction.
  • Clear about what you do Tell us whether you build, remodel, service or repair, and which ZIP codes you cover. Mismatched requests waste your time and the homeowner’s.
  • Able to respond quickly Homeowners asked for quotes; a short list only works if each company calls back.
  • Commercial work covered by the right credential HOA and hotel pools can require a certified operator: 21 of 51 jurisdictions require one for public pools.

The network is not a fit for companies that want unlimited shared leads, that cannot show a license where one is required, or that want paid placement in our editorial content. Editorial pages and research stay independent of the network.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do pool contractor leads cost with PC&S?

Terms are discussed with each company individually, and we publish no price list for pros. Lead pricing elsewhere varies by vendor and model; one vendor publishes $33.99 per pool service lead (99 Calls, accessed October 8, 2026).

Are the leads exclusive?

We limit the number of companies per market and service. How many companies may receive the same request in your market is part of the terms we agree with you before you join.

Where do the homeowner requests come from?

From the quote forms on our pool guides, service pages and city pages. Homeowners give their ZIP code, service, budget range and timeline and consent to be contacted.

What do you check before accepting a pool company?

State license status where the state licenses pool work, a current certificate of insurance, and references. In states without a state pool license, such as Texas, we ask for local registrations.

Do you send leads to pool service companies or only builders?

Both, matched by service. Build and remodel requests go to builders; weekly service and repair requests go to service companies that cover the ZIP code.

Does PC&S handle payments or contracts?

No. You quote and contract with the customer directly. PC&S holds no customer money and is not a party to the job.

Can joining the network get my company mentioned in your guides?

No. Editorial content and research are kept separate from the network, per our editorial standards.

Which markets are open?

The network starts where pools are concentrated: Florida, California, Texas, New York and Arizona held 54.2% of US pool homes in 2024. Apply with your ZIP codes and we will tell you whether your market and service are open.

How do I get more pool service customers without buying leads?

Many companies buy routes; brokers price them at 10 to 12 times monthly billing, and our analysis of 767 listings found a 12.0x median. See our pool routes for sale guide.
