About Pool Construction and Service
This page is about Pool Construction and Service (PC&S), an independent matching and research site that introduces homeowners, HOAs and property managers to licensed pool builders and pool service companies.
What Pool Construction and Service Does
PC&S does two jobs: it matches people who need pool work with independent pool companies, and it publishes guides and research about building and owning a pool.
You tell us once what you need: a new pool, a remodel, a repair or weekly service, plus the ZIP code of the property. We look at which pool companies in our network cover that area and that kind of work, and we introduce you so you can compare quotes and decide for yourself.
We are a matching and information service. We are not a contractor. We do not design, build, repair or service pools, we do not sign construction or service contracts, and we never hold your money. The pool companies we introduce are independent businesses that hold their own licenses and insurance.
How Matching Works
- Tell us about your poolNew build, remodel, repair or service, your ZIP code, a budget range and your timeline. You can stop after the first step and ask a question instead.
- We shortlist pool companiesWe look for companies whose license, insurance, service area and past pools fit the job. Our checks are described on how we vet pool contractors.
- You compare and decideYou talk to the companies, compare scope and price side by side, and hire whoever you trust, or nobody. You are under no obligation.
Depending on your ZIP code and project, we may introduce you to one company or to several. To start, use the quote request form.
Who We Work With
- Homeowners planning a new inground pool, a remodel, a repair or regular service.
- HOAs, apartment owners and hotels that need commercial pool construction or service built to public pool health codes.
- Pool builders and pool service companies that want introductions to people in their service area. They can apply on For Pool Pros.
What We Publish
Everything we publish is free to read, and our research data is free to reuse with attribution.
Guides and service pages carry the byline PC&S Editorial Team, and research reports carry the byline PC&S Research Desk. We do not invent author names or credentials. How we source, check and correct our content is set out in our editorial standards.
How the Site Is Funded
Homeowners pay nothing to use PC&S. Pool companies in our network may pay us for introductions, and that is how the site is funded. We do not run ads. Pool companies cannot pay to appear in our guides or research. The full explanation is on the purpose of this website page.
