Cookie Policy
This cookie policy explains what our site stores in your browser: our own code sets no cookies, the quote form uses session storage that clears when you close the tab, and Google Fonts receives your IP address.
About this cookie policy
Last updated 2026-10-08. This policy is pending attorney review.
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Session storage is a similar browser feature that keeps data only for the current tab and clears it when the tab closes. This page lists what poolconstructionandservice.com stores and loads. Our privacy policy covers everything else we collect.
Cookies set by our own code: none
The site’s own code does not set any cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social media pixels or cross-site tracking. If we ever add analytics or similar tools, we will list them here and update the date at the top of this page.
What the quote form keeps in session storage
Two small items, both cleared when you close the tab. Neither is sent to anyone else.
- pcs_lead: a request number and access key returned by our server after the first step of the quote form. It lets the next steps of the form attach your answers to the same request.
- pcs_exit_seen: a yes flag that records that the “before you go” box was shown, or that you started a form or tapped a phone link, so the box does not appear again in that tab.
If your browser blocks storage, the site still works; the “before you go” box may appear again and the form may start a new request record. You can start a request any time on our quote page.
Google Fonts
Our pages load fonts from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser requests the fonts, Google receives your IP address and standard request details such as your browser type and the page that asked for the fonts. Google says the Google Fonts API does not set cookies. See Google Fonts privacy and data collection.
WordPress cookies for site administrators
The site runs on WordPress. WordPress sets its own login cookies, such as wordpress_logged_in and wp-settings, for people who sign in to manage the site, and a test cookie on the login page. Regular visitors are not asked to sign in. Our pages do not include public comment forms, so WordPress comment cookies are not used.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Closing the tab clears session storage. Because the site does no ad tracking, there are no advertising cookies to opt out of. To opt out of us sending your quote request to pool companies, see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Questions about this cookie policy: hello@poolconstructionandservice.com or our contact page.
